📍DAY 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu

Booking & Cancellation Policy

1. Booking Procedure:

To secure your booking with DBD Tourism, we follow a simple and transparent payment structure:

• Step 1: Secure Your Booking
  Pay just ₹10,000 per person as a booking confirmation deposit. (Non-refundable, but adjustable in the total amount)

• Step 2: Pre-Trip Confirmation
  Pay 25% of the total package cost at least 30 days before the trip start date to confirm arrangements.

• Step 3: Final Payment

  Settle the remaining balance at least 20 days before the journey begins. 

2. Cancellation Policy:

1. • ₹25,000 per person – Non-refundable once booking is processed.

   • 30 days before departure: 30% of the total trip cost.

   • 15 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost.

   • 15 days or less before departure: 100% of the total trip cost.

Note: Once a permit has been applied for, no refund will be provided under any circumstances. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our office. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

The best months are May–June and September–October.
These months have stable weather, clear views, open passes, and safe travel conditions.

2. How long is the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra?

Most overland itineraries take 12 to 14 days, depending on acclimatisation and route conditions.

3. Do I need a visa and permit for the Kailash Yatra?

Yes. All Indian travelers require:

• Chinese Visa

• Tibet Travel Permit (TTP)

• Alien’s Travel Permit (ATP)

• Sometimes a group permit depending on the route

• Doctor fitness certificate recommended

Yes. Your package includes all meals during the Tibet portion, which are cooked by staff or provided at local lodges.
Meals are simple, vegetarian-friendly, and suitable for altitude.

9. What is the altitude risk?

The Yatra goes above 5,600 m, so altitude sickness is possible.
That’s why acclimatisation days are added for safety.
Our team carries oxygen cylinders and first aid support.
