Distance: 271 km | Drive Time: 8-9 hrs
Scenic route through Bhimtal, Almora, and Champawat
Roads are good till Lohaghat, then become narrower toward Dharchula
Night Stay: Dharchula
Tip: Get a local SIM if needed. BSNL, Jio works best beyond this point.
Apply for the Inner Line Permit (ILP) through registered tour operators
Medical check-up & documentation
Explore the riverside market & Nepal side (via footbridge)
Distance: 80 km | Drive Time: 6–7 hrs (with check posts & landslides)
The route includes rugged Himalayan roads, deep valleys & beautiful landscapes
